Well, the Roush is red in color, and we all know red is a symbol of hot, hence better? But I must say, I'm an Eco-Boost fan and its color is rust brown and aluminum. Enough said!

Wow , drastic difference, like I said that “whine” people love, is just blower inefficiency/restricion.

my stage 2 trapped 141, go get a trap MPH and report back, even better than a dyno test.

gonna save people 19 minutes here
Roush was limited to 7300RPM and made 655hp and 544tq run 1, 678hp and 551tq run 2
Whipple was limited to 7800RPM and made 731hp and 597tq run 1, 727hp and 590tq run 2
Whipple made more power and torque than Roush across the whole curve
Peak torque for both was around ~4750RPM area
Peak power for both was made at the RPM limiter

Roush car had an X-pipe with 83mm pulley
Whipple car had headers with cats and an X-pipe with 95.25mm pulley

also the thumbnail has the wrong "duel" on it and the video has dislikes disabled

nice video, im going with roush because of whine and also gonna keep stock headers and cats due to local laws. Hoping that lower hp will keep them alive a decent amount before i have to replace them

true, ill add that. not really sure if that made much of a difference, though, the factory exhaust flows really well as-is

Me too.

I think $ for $ the Roush is cheaper and the safer option to keep the engine alive.

if you want max performance go Whipple. It is bigger after all haha. But Roush wins for me

Even the base exhaust? Pretty sweet for all GT owners if so

Yup, i've talked with my local speed shop and they said if I still feel anxious about it, they'll fit the GT500 headers and cats to my dark horse, which seems like a good compromise. Just more $$ :)

getting active exhaust adds minimal power, and supposedly even a 3" cat-back system adds minimal power too

this is the case for NA builds. For FI, there can be a debate on gains with headers and a 3" setup. I believe there's multiple threads about it on mustang6g and a video about it:

despite how similar 6G and 7G are, i dont think its wise to just assume. think of it this way, 6G is one pond and 7G is another. sure, putting 6G stuff in the 7G pond could be fine, but it could also cause trouble. i think we should wait until people have done their tests on 7G. beteer safe than sorry
