Whipple cost

You could drive to Florida to any of the Whipple or Ford Performance authorized sellers that are contributors to this forum and have them install it for about $3000 plus the cost of the kit

Now if you are going to go with upgraded oil pump gears, catch cans, etc etc etc the price is going to go up.

Drive down from SC to Wellington FL, drop the car off at Lethal Performance, grab a rental, go hang out in the Keys for a couple of days, pick your car upon the way back.

Lethal's website has the Ford Performance ( has a very limited warranty when installed by a ASE tech) for under $9100 plus tax and incidentals ( oil, filter, upgraded oil pump gears, catch cans, etc

Lethal has probably done more installs than your local dealer has and is familiar with the ins and outs of doing it right

For the record before I decided not to do the Supercharger on my car, I had many emails and a couple of phone conversations with the folk at Lethal and if I had gone thru with it ( I still may at some point the car is a year old w/4300 miles on it) I was satisfied that they could do it right.

I would have loved to but it would have meant crossing the border and driving 7500 mile round trip. Other than that good suggestion.

I paid roughly $16500.00 CAD for the Stage 1 kit and the install.

The Comp Open Air and Catch Cans were extra.

Got a stage two from BeefCake racing for 11ish and the a buddy installed it for 1300 sooooooo to damn much

Did the at least offer free K-Y Jelly? If they Included Renegade alloy hub half shafts, McLoud RST clutch, and steeda stop the hop street kit it may be a bargain.

Right now, at least per Saleen's .com, they are offered stage 1 Whipple's for $8,999,99. I do believe tunes are not available for Stage 2+ anyway. But they're a whole lotta extra weight and will cause the car to dive in cornering.

I only offer this as a data point, understanding that this is not an option for S650's YET, buy my ESS centri kit including Wengerd tune was $7,800 and easy enough to install myself. Hard to imagine that with their success with the S550's that a 650 kit wasn't in the works.

I chatted with just about anyone here. Even Ford says no tune available other than basic tunes. I don't purchase an elephant gun to put .22s in it.

weird 120mm throttle body, open air box kit, catless long tube headers, double H pip and 4.5in tip exhaust. Weird I have that with whatever tune Whipple sent me and runs fine.
