As for me: 21 Sti, 19 WRX, 2011 WRX, 2008 Civic Si. DH feels like Im just driving a V8 with a good shifter, rather than a driving a car. Im considering this a downgrade from my Sti and 2011 WRX. Maybe I can trade it in for an M2 one of these days

I have a 2011 STi, sunk a ton of money into it, like, a literal tonne and its still slower and far less reliable than the dh. Then for $10k USD my DH will be faster than the STi could ever hope to be while maintaining some kind of warranty. Replacing the entire motor with another built motor is also somehow cheaper than on an STI, despite both being DOHC and the mustang having 2x the cylinders.

However the DH is worse in interior quality than 10+ year old BMW, Audi and Mercs I've owned. I really miss physical buttons.

Engine noise wise I'd put it up there with my v8 AMG mercs (e63s, sl55)

With the depreciation on the DH rivaling most german luxury cars, good luck not being further under water going to an M2.

2022 challenger hellcat. Totally different cars. Not even close in acceleration, hellcat all day. Everything else, dark horse wins! I need a whipple or roush to even the playing field.

my Mach 1 felt faster but no where near as solid of a chassis as the DH. And then the reason I traded, Tremec is bliss.
The manual DH is such a great drivers car, period.. amen!
I test drove the new M2 twice before going with the DH. M2 was numb feeling and didn’t sound good. Yes a little faster but who cares at the end of the day. Always faster cars on the road.
$63k for a new 24 DH premium was a fair deal. People paying $70-$80k for a DH are nuts imo.

I'm coming from a g80 m3 with manual transmission. Had an x3m before that which I regret selling.

Compared to the manual m3 the mustang wins. The bmw engine is great and makes a ton of power reliably but its nature goes much better with the auto zf8. Bmw is not investing anything in new manual gearboxes and its basically using the same as 15 years ago. Thats why they detuned it for the manual as the clutch cannot handle higher torque.

S58 with zf8 and xdrive is a match made in heaven.
Only con is the engine sound, no way of making sound decent.

While I drive a manual I'll stay with the DH. Tremec, Coyote and rwd is oldschool fun.

Modern G80&82's transmissions genuinely feel identical to E46 M3's and E39 M5's, and not in a good way, hahah.

I know a am going to get bashed for admitting what my last car was. Here it is a Mach E. I feel all the Booooos.
The DH makes the Mach E feel like a toy car and after having driven my DH and going to the racing school I have no idea what possessed me to buy a Mach E.

I had a 16 Yukon Denali that had a CAI, ported lt5 throttle body, ported intake mani, longtubes and a tune. Was super fun to scoot around in something that big that quick but I always wanted a car. Big upgrade I’m loving this thing
