I hope I’m posting in the right spot.
So, my experience ordering stuff for this car has been a disaster.

-Ordered stuff from Lethal Performance and when it never shipped I asked why and their reply was “it’s ready to ship, but technically it’s on back order.” Then they subsequently told me their website doesn’t reflect inventory and I should have called for availability??? What??? Canceled order after 10 business days.

2nd place I tried was American Muscle. Shift knob came scratched/blemished and their return process seems cumbersome for a sub $100 product. First customer service email ignored. Only after I reached out on multiple platforms did I finally get some guidance.

So then I tried ordering a few things from Ford. Nothing crazy, but they only shipped half my order then gave me the same reply, basically saying it wasn’t in stock. However, looking at their Ford Performance stuff, some of their orders say “on back order “ but the product I purchased wasn’t, and I never got an email explaining anything. For all 3 companies I had to pester them just to get a reply.

This is my first Mustang and I don’t have experience with any of these companies. Just wondering what your go to for purchasing anything aftermarket for your Mustang. Thank you!

The whole internet. I never have a go to place since parts are widely sold all around the world depending on what you are searching for. That's the power of internet and fast shipping.

Do you notice any good things for the stop the hop kit? And maybe also some bad things?

I like Lethal, you do need to verify inventory though.

AM is a mixed bag, they've lost my stuff, send me things two weeks apart...but they always give me a credit etc

I like LMR.com and BeefcakeRacing as well

I really don't know what the rear jumping is and I never felt that before.

But I have this issue on a lot of things.
Also people comparing the 3.15 vs 3.55 gears. I don't feel the difference in that as well.

I might just skip the upgrade since I don't feel the differences.

Shop around until you get the lowest price and use a coupon finder. Also check fb marketplace, these cars and the s550 are so common that when they are resold, there’s definitely the parts on used market. You could probably find a bunch of the steeda stuff and bmr stuff on eBay or fb marketplace. Exhaust components too. They all work great still in my experience

LMR - Top notch customer service
Levittown Ford - Had a slight issue with an order. No fault of theirs. They made things right.
CJ Pony Parts - No issues, fast shipping.
MMR - No issues, specialty tools etc.
VMP Performance - Still waiting on an order to ship. Placed and order on 5/8/25 and haven't received any updates or emails, nothing, nada. The only email I received was at the time of order. In all fairness there was no "stock status" listed and I didn't call prior to ordering, so there could be a lead time. Part was a carbon fiber strut tower brace for Whipple S.C.. Nonetheless it would be nice if they would provide some sort of status.

AliExpress.com, and Rockauto.com, now for the 2013, American Muscle is my go to.

CJPONY is my first choice and also at times I used Summit Racing.
