I am 30 and my wife is 28. She was 20 when she bought her first Mustang that we will be trading in for a s650 next year.

For the past 8 years (my entire life) we lived the simple life. Never spend what we don't have and rarely buy what we don't need.

I bought my first Mustang at 18. It was a new 1986 GT. I then purchased a 1988 GT. Then I bought a 1991 Saleen Convertible, I actually owned that car twice. Then a 2001 Saleen coupe. I drifted away from the Mustang until last year when I bought a 2024 Darkhorse Premium at 56 y/o....

It will be cool to see the average age of every owner here and the type of Mustang they drive.

I saw a post on another website last night, where this college kid posted a 25’ Dark Horse. With the caption “ what college kid can afford this?”, most of the comments were “Daddy‘s money!”, but that got my thinking. If people see a young person driving in your Mustang, and the immediate impression is daddy‘s money. What is the standard age of people buying a S650?

I’m 21 and just bought a 25’ 60th anniversary GT Premium Convertible. This was entirely my money, as I own my own business and I am lucky enough to make enough money to buy myself a nice car at a young age.

I bought my first Mustang, a Boss 302, at 13 years old with my lemonade stand money. Then invested in stocks at 15 and bought 7 GT500s at 17 - one for each day of the week. I'll explain everything in my YouTube video, "How do I afford 7 GT500s at 17 years old!?"

...being serious though, I'm in my 30s and own a Hellcat.

Betting I have owned more Mustangs then anyone on this forum ....I used to buy and sell cars for a living when in college....so if I had to guess have owned more then 400 Mustangs ...some of the highlights

1967 Shelby GT500
2007 Shelby GT500
1996 Cobra convertible
1966 GT350H
1969 Mach 1 428 4 speed drag pack
1970 Boss 302
Bought a 1990 fox body from Paxton Superchargers
My 1956 Fairlane Victoria with 428CJ had a 4 page spread in Street Rodder magazine- not a Mustang but had a Mustang heart lol

Have owned too many fastbacks, Mach 1s to count
Probably 10-15 fox body cars
few K code cars
owned a few S550s

Oh - I also played with GMs also
70 LS6 Chevelle
69 RS Z28
a bunch of 70-73 Formula 400s, Trans Ams, Z28s
a bunch of 67-69 Camaros

Also a bunch of 50s stuff - never did a ton with Mopars - those guys were too difficult to deal with - kind of like the Corvette guys which I also avoided...
