On her way to work one day last week, North Carolina resident, Melissa Schlarb, saw an unusual sight. A Bald Eagle carrying some prey in it's talons.

Whether the eagle lost it grip or deliberately dropped it's prey..........................A DEAD CAT .....................the cat fell and exploded through Ms. Schlarb's passenger side windshield! The shaken Ms. Schlarb, covered in glass fragments, and cat guts and blood was able to safely pull over and call 911. 👍 The dead cat was subsequently recovered from Ms. Schlarb's front passenger seat.

HOLY CRAP! Of all the wild possibilities for an accident!

Imagining the response Ms. Schlarb received from her insurance provider. Ms. Schlarb, we' are very sorry to hear about the incident that resulted in damage to your vehicle..We reviewed your policy and were unable to locate a "eagle drops cat through window" rider.. The lack of said rider forces us to deny your claim. We suggest adding a "Eagle drops cat through window" rider to your current policy. Feel free to call us for a quote.
