Now that we have tunes available for GT's and Dark Horse Mustangs available, I'm wondering if it will expand to the Ecoboost. I have a 24 Eco performance package car with the Magnaride suspension and although I'm generally happy with the car and the way it handles, i do not like the disconnect between my right foot input and the response of the car. Also, hope the 10 speed auto can be retuned. I previously had a 2019 GT California Special drop top, and did not experience either issue with it. Hopefully now that the V8 tunes are out they will be looking at the Ecoboost next!

When i had a 2020 ecoboost tuned a while back it had full bolt ons minus a cat back exhaust (4 cyl didnt sound good) and it was very fun to whip around in. Hopefully they release a tune for yall soon!

I'm waiting for the Ford Pro Cal tune. I have a GT though the Pro Cal usually makes one for GT and ECO. It should help the A10 out as well as improve the throttle response...so I hope!

You may want to look into the current class action lawsuit relating to the Ecoboost engines before you add additional stress to that specific engine. According to the suit issues, apparently these engines are suspect to specific serious issues on their own.

That's wild you could add magnaride to an ecoboost. Assume it was a 2024 thing?

I own a 2024 Eco-Boost Premium, and other than a K&N filter, everything is OEM! The OD reads a scant 2,400+ miles (10 months old), so my seat time is a bit limited. Nonetheless I find a lot of the criticisms toward the EB unfounded, and one of those is throttle response.

I've owned a number of turbo vehicles, and heretofore throttle response has been an issue with most of them. My 2019 Ranger was better than most, and any complaints I had were solved with a Ford Performance tune and a few other goodies. As good as it is, the EB is better in every respect. If you're really in a hurry, stomping the go pedal will result in screeching tires before the car moves one car length! If you drive it normally, the turbo lag isn't ever noticeable.

If I have a pet peeve, it is the 10R80 programming when in Sports mode with the shift lever in S (sports mode too). Shifts can be very harsh and even brutal if you let off at the wrong time. In Sports mode and in Drive, it is a pleasure to drive in traffic, with near instant boost.

What more do you want? One more meatball? (Pun intended)

I know you could in 2024, but since the Performance Package was discontinued in '25, it may not be available on Ecoboosts now, I'm not sure. I ordered my car in July '24 and took delivery the last day of September. I was going to get another GT, but after taking a test drive in a PP equipped Eco, and loved the handling, I switched. No, it's not as quick as a GT in a straight line, but it is more fun to drive on a twisty road!

An Ecoboost with magneride and the performance package would probably make a great track day car.

I am sure it is coming.

Upgrade your intercooler. It was a seriously limiting factor in the S550.
Who makes an intercooler for S650... I'm still waiting...

Yes the FP tune does wonders for the trans... at least it did in the S550 version.

Does that pertain to the 2024 and up 2.3 in the Mustang? It is a redesigned engine...

Yep, 24 MY only... love it...

The itch is getting worse by the day...

I did not realize this. I just took a look, and they all cut off at 2023.
If you run across one, post it up here in the Eco forum.

I have called/emailed a few mfg... "in the works" from a couple.
