Is no guidelines, you're gonna get most people on here telling you not to do it, unsafe, illegal, etc... it's your car, your money, your possible ticket, your possible denied insurance claim, blah, blah, blah...

Mine are tinted 20%, have zero problems seeing at night

Don't you want to see where you're going and for other people to see you at night? They aren't cool either. You asked for it so take it like a man.

As you can see, mine are quite dark. No clue what the tint level is, they were purchased this way.
These most certainly do affect one's ability to see at night, which is why I made sure that I have a way to take them off and put them back on quickly and easily.

Those are covers? They fit nice and snug! I've tried covers on other vehicles and they never fit correct, could see light shining out on the edges

Yes, they are covers and they do fit pretty well!
