I think the best way to handle track heat for you to run a enter chiller system, and if we can get tuners to crack the code so to speak, then we can get the computer to allow larger oil coolers. I did two hits yesterday and the oil was almost at 250°
No, I’m running for synthetic shouldn’t be a problem, but I still try to keep under Hood temps cool as possible. I was a shock took them two months to get their car back. Has anybody else has civil experiences with Whipple or Ford performance warranty claims?

I believe so since they’re not really bolted over the engine like a traditional blower is
There's blower/IAT temp, oil temp, engine coolant temp, trans temp, diff temp. That's only going to fix one of those.
Interchiller is not intended for the track. It is for drag strip and street only.

I don’t see why you couldn’t turn it on running around the track?

Yes, generally the least heat efficient is a roots blower, centris are a bit better, and turbos are best when it comes to heat.

ECUs been cracked since late last year.
That’s true the hell I everybody on the side been complaining about you can’t add an engine oil cooler to your engine without the computer acknowledging it?
If it has been cracked, then yes a big giant engine oil cooler and a much larger radiator would be in order. Perhaps we should look to the hellcat forms. Do they take those heavier cars to the road courses?

Several reasons, including that the air conditioner turns off at full throttle, and water cannot drip from your car on a track day . . . see the manufacturer. They do not recommend it for track, just drag and street. Or just do a Google search asking the question, and you will get lots of returns to read.

Yeah, wondering about the water dripping part. Oh well.

Another poster told me that since the computers are cracked now can tuners go in and add in the oil cooler accuracy option?

Happened after 800 hard miles with my ESS car. Its just the cats roasting. Thats what the white smoke is. Remove them and the car is a ripper again.

Yes 100% accurate. You can change the inferred temps from the non PP to the PP or DH values if you add one of the Ford oil cooler kits. Not sure how accurate they are with the aftermarket oil cooler kits.

Well, for starters, they're using an entirely different motor to the standard Dark Horse...
Right, but we’re not trying to re-engineer the Wheel the mortar isn’t the problem. We’re trying to figure out how to keep everything cool now we know we can put different oil coolers, and what not or bigger radiator and we can hopefully get the computer to monitor the results sure is easier in the old days temperature sensor and the computer would simply read the actual temperature progress I guess🤑🤦

I do not think this is accurate.

If you find out about somebody who can do this competently, please provide the info on its own thread here at mustang7g.com so everybody who adds an oil cooler can pay him money.

Remember, too, if you change the oil viscosity, e.g., running 5W-50, the inferred oil temperature is no longer accurate (in that case it will read artificially low). If you live in the Arctic and run 0w-20 or something, the inferred temperature will read artificially low, but that probably won't matter as you could not physically overheat the oil when the temperature outside is a -27 Fahrenheit.

Well, there you go. If you have no oil cooler and install one, reach out to ZXMustang to see what he can do for you.

While oil pressure might be noticeably different between two grades, temperature is going to only change by a couple degrees, at least according to tests done by various famous youtube channels

Interesting - I haven't seen any of these. Can you recommend or link one or two?
