Thanks for sharing and glad they got you taken care of.
No p
Where was you hearing this noise? Was it coming from the reaar?
For 3 months they went through all the repairs they thought would fix it. They actually found it when Ford had them take apart the drivetrain and notice it was not lubricated. There's four of them elsewhere. I think this how your mechanic looking them and yes we thought it was coming from the rear but it was the drivetrain so that can be tricky. You're sitting right there

What the heck is an anti-ting ring?
The space between the drivetrain and trans ...wiggle room needs a lubricant and ring to keep them from knocking and if dry it knocks ... correct me if I am wrong 😂💯

What did the noise sound like? Was it a knocking from the back when shifting?

I hope this helps, this should help with the suspension noise issue that no one seemed to have fixed. Liberty Ford, North Carolina fixed mine.

May I know your car's production date? I had the same issue last year and my DarkHorse was fixed by my dealer. They replaced a new output flange and lubricated it. And there are others around the world who seem to have the same issue. I'm just curious if our production dates are close...

The parts on our cars are 2023 so yes we all have the same issue if we got that 2024 ...it's not too bad was just hard to find

^Yes, from reading around on the internet I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.

6G Forum member had the same issue here:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/10r80-clunk-noise.164619/
Links to TSB 20-2253 (for 2WD Ford Expeditions) but it's the same symptoms. Similar posts on F-150 forums as well.

Came across someone else who had the same thing and basically got dismissed by his dealer:
According to Ford, all is normal if your transmission is a clunky piece of trash : r/f150

Seems to be a common Ford issue across the web.

For anyone who wants to check if their vehicle has this: happens to me at exactly 3mph each time. Low-moderate deceleration, can't be decelerating too slow or too fast, and then when crossing the 3mph mark it will subtly clunk from passenger floorboard area. I can also sometimes make it happen on acceleration, if I previously decelerated uber-extremely gently (thus didn't trigger the clunk), and upon accelerating past 3mph again it'll do the clunk.

Ford may dismiss this as "normal driveline slack" but definitely didn't happen when new. Showed up ~3K miles for me.

Interesting. It’s real hard for me to recreate except the first time I shift a few times. I have sat in rhe car with a tech and they were like - it’s fine.
