These Bolts are listed as “1 time use” just wondering how many people actually replace them.

I did on my 2014 stang and A friend did on his too. We both found the wording on a Ford schematic that said "one time use only". I have a bag of them for my 2024 in case the strut has to be removed for engine work (like removing the engine cover). It took two weeks for them to arrive, which i knew from past experience, so I wanted to have them ready, just in case.

Why ? Because they are nylon inside ?

@Fender5803 ..... on the 2014s there was a coating but a Ford note we found also stated they were one time rated for torque stress. I don't know if the nuts for my 2024s tower studs are coated inside but I was told they are one time torque rated and once the torque is removed (as in loosened) they should be discarded. I'm not saying all shops do that but I tend to follow oem torque and use specs.

there is a reason why ford says to not re-use the fasteners. if i ever do my own work and Ford says not to re-use them, the old fasteners get thrown out and i put new ones in. re-using the old fasteners in those cases is playing with fire. sure, sometimes nothing happens, but i dont want to chance that small percentage where something does happen

In the spring I’m install lowering springs. Would you happen to have part numbers for bolts/nuts that will need replaced for front and rear?
