I would like to change the steering ratio, to turn a bit quicker per degree rotation of stg wheel. Anyone know if this can be done?

I know the '25s have electronic power steering. That might be a window into doing this.

Thanx, guys.

I too have wondered about this. Most likely via Forscan, under PSCM (Power Steering Control Module).

There are little edits people have made (on other Ford vehicles at least) to change the steering feedback/roadbump-muting settings and such. So there might be a way to change the steering ratio.

Man, I'd just like to get better feedback through the wheel. The lack of it is a serious weakness in Mustangs. I'm on my fourth GT and it can get you in trouble. They've all been that way.

there is still a direct connection to the rack you cant change it i believe its 15:1.
but there is a belt in-between you and the wheels
with 305's in the front i get enough feedback you may want to upgrade your wheels and tires to get more feedback

Geez. One of my minor peeves is about the S650's road feel, which is a bit too much. I'd be surprised if it's adjustable electronically. Part of the issue I believe, is the lousy Continental tires mine came with. I know some here think they're wonderful, but in OEM form, they're far from it!
