I just installed the SR strut tower brace in my new S650. I also added the full metal cowel brace I got from a junkyard for $25. Whole install took around 20 minutes. The hardest part was getting off the little plastic piece that holds the battery cable to the tower bolt. The most time consuming part was searching for the plastic rivet I dropped into the engine bay. The only “oh, s***” moment was when the holes on the brace did not align with the tower bolts. Turns out I had it upside down. It turned out nice I think. The little Coyote plaque on the brace was one I had laying around from my previous Mustang. Hopefully this will take out a tiny bit of body roll without stiffening the ride.

Update: Just got back from a trip down river road and it made a huge difference in the corners snd under hard acceleration. . Unwanted flex (poor terminology that will upset some more sensitive members but not a structural engineer here) is almost non-existent now. Well worth the small investment of money and even smaller time investment.

Nice! A little easier to pull the dipstick out with that brace over my Ford Performance brace.

That brace won't work with a blower like the Whipple or Rousch though, right? What can you use for this if your car does have the supercharger?

VPM Tuning sells a carbon fiber strut tower brace. I fit's but is very tight.

So you had body roll. You installed an SR strut tower brace, and, as a result, "Body roll is almost non-existent now?"

What does a strut tower brace have to do with "Body roll?"

That’s my fear with this kind of upgrade. I spend the money and install this, and lo and behold, it makes a big imaginary difference.

Confirmation bias demands that I report a difference even if I feel none in my driving.

Probably not the best choice of words, but I don’t just consider suspension dip as body roll. I also include frame flex and torsion as “body roll” because of the similar movement. Sorry my poor terminology bothered you so much.
