I have recently seen a product called MAXL ONE advertised that looks interesting for use as a wash/wax. Has anyone here used this? If so, what. are your impression of it?

Thanks.

That's the stuff..They advertise it like crazy, but that doesn't mean it's any good, and before I spend $60 on a bottle, I would like to hear what others think of it, if anyone else has tried it.

I don't get the waterless wash thing, especially for $60/bottle. What about the wheels/tires, fender wells, door jambs, etc? Don't think there is any substitute for an old fashioned hose and bucket wash job.

I decided to try it just because. I usually stick to Adam's and Meguiar's products, but I was curious. I used it as a detail, not a waterless wash. I used it on the paint, trim, rims, glass (inside and out), and mirrors. I'd have to admit, the sh!# works!
The shine was deeper, the coating is super slick. Easy to apply. It's been two weeks now and I've been through one rain storm. I used a microfiber towel to wipe off the daily dust and i didn't use any effort as the car was as slick as it was from day one of application. Now $50 bucks is a bit steep, but it definitely works. The jury is still out for longevity. A little goes a long way with this stuff, so I'll have it for a while. Hell, I even used it on my shower glass doors (water just rolled off)

A couple of phrases come to mind -

"Jack of all trades, master of none".

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

Brands like this selling wonder products are marketing companies first, detailing companies second. They go to a blender, have a brand name put on a generic product, then sell the product at heavy markup via social media and product placements on Youtube. No passion, no interest in what they are selling, it's just a cash grab. Snake oil.

Stick to reputable, well-known brands who have the runs on the board.

There is a place like that near where I live that just copies compounds and puts their label, or yours on it. They have invented nothing. They aren't smart enough.

I tried it too on my whole Bronco and it worked well. It was similar effort to a normal wash though so I haven’t used it again yet

At a conceptual level, these types of products don't make sense.

It's a wash & wax in one.....so it's supposed to strip away dirt/grime while also leaving behind a protective layer? Strip away and simultaneously leave behind? Sounds like it'll do neither very well.
