My S650 has the 401A package and came with 9x20 magnesium rims. It also came with a locking lug kits, and I really hate the one different lug on each wheel. I also decided to put black lugs on the magnesium rims because I think it makes the black center cap stand out and compliments the other black features on the car. Anyway .... I decided to get a set of these splined lugs. I double checked they are the right lugs for the car, according to the manufacturer, and they have the right thread pattern, installed fine, and I torqued them at 150 lbs, no problems installing.
BUT, they seam so much smaller than the factory lugs. they don't have a flange and the centering cone is not as deep. It's not like the wheels are going to fall off, but they just don't seem (look) as substantial as the factory lugs. But they do look good.
Am I over thinking this?
