I find the one in the dash that is read by the camera to be very accurate. Reads the signs for reduced speed in construction areas also.
Interesting. I'm taking a ride today and I'll pay special attention to it and compare with GoogleMaps. There are a lot of areas around here where you go from 50 to 35 to 25 as you go through small residential or commercial areas, then it goes back up the same way back to 50. Those areas are where I sometimes see discrepancies. I'll take a look today and see how it goes.

APIM:

7D0-09-04xxxxxxxx6x--

IPC:

720-03-01x0xxxxxxxx--
720-09-01xxxxxxxx1x--

IPMA:

706-01-01xx0xxxxxxx--
706-02-012Axxxxxxxx--

keep in mind my car from Middle East so make sure before you change anything to read the attachment and see if the number you will change won't affect other things in you car

after finishing you need to reboot the modules in forscan as well
Thanks I'll check them in mine. Didn't notice your not in the states, that might be why yours is different.

I'm curious now, why does the OP want it off?
I just don't need it and the little speed limit signs look a bit busy on my dash. It won't bug me if I cant disable, just like to be able to customize my screens ect.

Yes, but I still have the speed limit indicator. I played with it this morning and it doesn't turn off. I guess it's only a forscan thing. Oh well. It's never bothered me.
AZ_Ryan,
Thank you for checking.

I think it's a neat feature. I do notice discrepancies from time to time. I run GoogleMaps almost constantly and it's interesting to see when the speed limit feature differs from one to the other. Nearly 100% of the time when it happens, the dash is the wrong one.

I'm sorry I don't know how to turn it off or if it's even possible.
Interesting. The exact opposite here. Google don't update our constantly changing limits quickly enough.
I hate to think what tourists think about our roading system

I think the speed limit being displayed is a great feature. When I drive my wife's car I am annoyed when it's not there! Glenn

Is there a way to disable the speed limit signs that show on my dash when driving? I've looked in the menus but I cant find a way to turn it off? I saw in the manual there is supposed to be a way to turn the feature off but I don't see it. Speed limit sign recognition is think it's called.
Press the cruise control button on the steering wheel twice, this will turn off the warning bleeps, but will still show the signs on the display. Will need to do this again if you turn the system off, its not permanant, hope this helps.

I admit it's a neat feature. I just wondered if it can be disabled or turn it off. 🤔
Press the cruise control on/off button twice, bottom row far right on steering wheel, will have to do this each time the engine switched off, hope this helps.

Agree. The car system uses a mixture of static data from maps and actual road sign scans. Google only uses static data from the maps so cannot be 'better' as it will never detect changes as quickly.

Far bottom right is the volume down button

The bottom left button is the speed limiter button not cruise control. Press and hold to disable the speed limit audible warning but the screen display will always remain.

Out of curiosity, does covering the camera disable the display?

I drove around yesterday on a combination of state roads and smaller local roads and both the dash speed limit sign and GoogleMaps were spot on the entire way. Both changed almost exactly at the same time when the speed limit changed on the road I was on, which is pretty amazing. I would see a sign coming up with a lower limit and watch as I passed by and sure enough both would change almost to the second when I passed the sign. Technology is something else. I'll keep an eye on it and try to note when I do see a descrepency.
