Someone lightly clipped my passenger front, hitting the passenger fender and some contact with passenger side of the bumper. Bumper may be able to be polished out.

I want to be as minimally invasive as possible and haven't had good experiences with body shops doing proper work in the past.

So I'm wondering: why not just replace the fender with a pre-painted OEM passenger fender? I can find them online for like $720. I am going through the insurance process but figure I could do it myself, make sure it's done right and no corners are cut.

I've heard paint won't match, but my car is brand new, so I figure paint match shouldn't be THAT bad, right? Oxford white, which as a flat white should be relatively easy to match?

Appreciate any opinions.
