This may possibly be “the little bastard” that was rumored to be a shorter wheelbase/2-seat option for future up-market Mustang’s.

Initially rumored to be about 105 inches, it was supposed to carry the GT350/GT500 nameplates in a very different “7th Generation” Mustang way back in 2019-ish.

However, it appears things change but, we could still see some of the R&D used and I believe this is likely it. I believe Sales and no direct competition pushed Ford to be conservative with 7th Gen changes.

We could very well see Shelby return for Gen 8 after the “Super-Stang” on a 105 inch wheelbase is ready. The gap a legitimate 2-seater, 105in WB GT350 with the new IMSA 5.4 (or 5.5) V8 would put on the current Dark Horse would be incredible.

That appears to be a track only car. Frankly, I think it's extremely overstated. Especially the boy racer giant wing.
