Yeah they’re not remotely the same. Lol.I wonder how many potential buyers for the GTD see this car and decide they can have basically the same thing for half price?

I am sure Carroll Shelby had no idea what legacy he would leave us after he modify his first car. But his dreams, his love for high performance cars is still with us today and the only words I can say right now are; Thank you!
Shelbys new Super Snake for the S650 is finally being shown off. Featuring 830+ hp from the 3.0L Whipple, widebody front fenders made from carbon fiber. As well as 20" forged magnesium wheels and a full suite of other upgrades both outside and inside. No official pricing as of yet, but expect it to be well over 100k if the previous Super Snake is any metric

Shelby American owns it all I believe but they license things out to Ford. 2nd generation Shelby GT350 (2011) was in fact a modified 5.0 GT from Shelby American for example, which is the same ethos for the original cars. Can someone clear this up for me. I was debating someone about Shelby.
The Shelby Super Snake is Shelby America. (you buy a car and send it to them)
The GT350 & GT350 are Shelby monikers owned by Ford Performance. (GT350 & GT500 made by Ford)
Is this correct?
Yes, the only thing Shelby about the GT350 and GT500 is the badge (shelby owns the gt500/350 name), everything else is from Ford Performance. Can someone clear this up for me. I was debating someone about Shelby.
