Hi guys! I am new to the group and happy to be a part of. I just upgraded to a 2025 Mustang GT Premium Performance Pack and love it!

I am hopping someone can help me out with what fuse to safely tie into for a remote turn on for an amplifier I would like to install for a subwoofer.

Has anyone done this yet on there S650?

I am thinking a add-a-fuse to something that is only on when vehicle is on, unless someone has any other ideas to get this done?

I also dont want to damage any of the vehicles electrical system nor do I want to take a chance of perhaps Ford denying any type of warranty claim due to an installation error on my part.

any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Ive got a LOC already from other mustang but is only made to use left and right from driver side rear speaker. Sounded fine. Was just going to solder two wires to the exposed terminals. I dont even have to pull the inside panel out or anything.

I need to grab remote 12v from somewhere else with that type of LOC.

I was hoping someone had done this type of install before but If I need to buy a new LOC … I will if no other option…

Try the fuse box under the passenger kick panel. Look for the fuse for windows and switches. I believe it's a 10amp fuse there

Just get the audio control LCI2 , it has remote sensening turn on built into it, an eliminating the need to connect to a fused turn on source. YouTube it it’s called GTO ( great turn on) tech built into it.

thanks… ya I am all good with getting that LC2i, I think my biggest concern is not wanting to splice into mu factory wiring ti my speakers. Do you know if they sell some kind of plug and play harness to connect to rear speakers to then connect to the LC2i ?

Do you have a link to this? Also wouldn't I need a “T” harness to keep the speakers in play??

From what I can see, what you sent me is to replace the speaker's to aftermarket speakers. I need speaker input to the LC2i to convert to aux for subwoofer amp.
I am Not changing speakers, i am adding a subwoofer only powered by an amp.
