When using silicone spray make sure you find the one that is 99% pure. Many others use too many distillates that's not adding to the lubrication.

I have a trick that works every time.

I close the top. Then twist the handle to latch it closed. That activates the window up circuitry.

i simply then turn the handle to unlatch the roof and push up A bit.

I close the rear windows, then the fronts. Then pull down and latch the roof closed.

Don't mess around with lubricant, that's not the solution.
Here it is explained what the problem is and how easy it can be fixed.
For a dealer/workshop a 15 Minute job:

I/we usually do the top up, don’t latch, top down, windows up (checking to make sure all closed and aligned), top up (letting windows go down automatically), latch, rears, then fronts method. If they won’t seat when latched then repeat process and latch after fronts are up.

not too clap happy with sprays and lubes, isn’t that what the rubber is for, unless it’s all dried up shouldn’t be sticking.

Back in August/September the dealer replaced my whole rear window assembly when I asked them to align it. The problem actually got worse after that. When I put my back windows up, it often goes back down due to the force it sees trying to close. I'm still pretty angry that I can't simply close the windows on a $65k car.
