When I park my car I put the top up and then put the windows up. For some reason on Friday and now yesterday the rear passenger window isn't going all the way up. Eventually after playing with the buttons it will close all the way. I've tried putting the back windows up and then the front windows, vice-versa, and putting them up at the same time. I don't see anything obvious out of alignment. I'll be taking it in for my first oil change soon and I plan to have them look at it. Has anyone else had an issue like this?

Edit: I found a thread with a similar issue. I'll talk to the dealer about aligning the window and I'll grease the seal.

This is something that many convertible have on the S550.
I'm seeing that now. I've never had this issue with either of my other cars but they are pre 2015.

All my rental Mustangs in the USA had the same problem and I drove like 5 or 6 from 2015 tot 2019. I had to use my hand to close the last part.

It's kind of crazy that they haven't solved the problem after all this time.

Ask the dealer to grease the seal. They'll likely use the following which you should use if you DIY this. Not cheap but good. "Krytox by Chemours GPL 205 Grease"

I bought a can of silicone spray when the problem started on my 2018 EcoBoost Premium Convertible. The spray can came with a tube that allowed the spray to be directed into the weatherstrip track and not get all over. Routinely did it once a year and never had the problem again. Have not had the problem with the 2024, but if it starts I am ready.

Thank you for the tip. Which lubricant did you use? My 2024 ecoboost started doing it. Thanks

I took mine in for service a couple weeks ago and they lubed the window seals. That seemed to help for the first few days but it also got silicone grease all over my windows and the sweeps. The windows also stopped sealing after a few uses. The seal on the front of the rear window is actually deformed. I assume it's hitting something when it goes down. After telling me that Ford probably wouldn't cover it under warranty, they did. The dealership ordered a new seal for the window and I just need to schedule an appointment to have it installed. I'm going to ask them to check the window alignment because I think it's going to be a recurring issue. I attached photos of the deformed seal.

I went to Autozone and got a can of silicone spray that had a tube attached to the spray nozzle. I don't recall a brand name, and II am traveling for the summer, so I don't have it with me. Which is unfortunate because the windows on my 2024 just started sticking this week. I will have to buy another can. I think it was around $10.
