What’s going on everyone! I have a few questions about which route to go on my Mustang and what supporting mods would be needed. I have a base 24 GT and heading to 3 years of ownership with it. My car is mostly stock besides suspension upgrades I made for the car to handle better on the streets, back roads, but I’m now thinking about adding headers and going with a 93 tune, or going with the stage 1 procharger setup.
My questions are is it worth doing just headers and 93 tune? I already have an AWE touring catback. What would the expected HP/TQ gains be?
Would it be better to go the Procharger stage 1, and add whatever options I’d want/like? I’d most likely speak to someone before I end up making the purchase. As for the Procharger set up I’d also most likely go with a 93 tune. I know E85 makes the most gains but I’m not interested in being the fastest, or getting every single HP out of my car since it’s mainly a street driven car on weekends or nice weather. I am leaning more towards Procharger but would like to know what other supporting mods I’d need, and what to expect if supercharging? I’ve had a few mustangs but never once modified anything on the Coyote platform and most I’ve ever done was tune and headers on one of my older cars and that was a blast. I just really love the look and sounds the Procharger makes, and would like to make it a bit quicker.
