Ok using AA,

I noticed on the left hand side of the screen is a PHONE button, click that and you get the phone options.

This said, it is still mind numbing to have to go through all the screens to just hang up.

BUT HEY, as someone here said use the voice commands, so when you need to hang up just hold the voice button and when prompted say "hang up" <-- yeah, that is better

Are you saying you can use the the Google Assistant while on the phone through Android Auto to say "hang up" and it does? WOW nice find. I will try that.

Press & immediately release the button, you're talking to the Ford Assistant (which controls all the Sync stuff).

Press & hold, then release, you're talking to Google Assistant or Siri, depending upon what phone is connected to the vehicle.

If your call is through the phone<->Bluetooth connection, you'll need to tell the Ford Assisstant to hang up. The Google Assistant can't hang up the Ford Sync phone connection.

I'm fighting with this since the start, I always hope the other to hang up, otherwise I have to find the right button, wherever it is, on the screen (or accessing the phone), or using the voice command while the other person will hear me fighting with it.. lol.
Making things so complex, while I had the useful phone button on my S550... they must be sadists.

There is a problem with Seri. He/She doesn't cuss, doesn't talk sexily, can't answer most questions unless location services are turned on (as if that mattered in most cases), and has too many canned answers. Like... I can't answer that while you're in motion! Why not? All I ask for was the date! Not for a hot date mind you, but 'the' calendar date! The list could go on forever, but He/She needs to be more human, and less AI. Geez!

Oh! And why doesn't He/She have a face? Imagine this; You get into the drivers seat, and while getting things started up, a nice looking face greets you with a smile, and words like...

"Would you like me to warm your cockles a bit?"

Although, it is learning etiquette. Try telling it ‘thank you’ (after it completes a request) and see if it replies.

Yeah. A Foxy Lady who looks exactly what you like. Go out just for a ride, you tell little wifey, and she's says "Take you time and have a long ride. Because every time you get home you randi." This does not work! You can't press the assistant button, regardless of using Ford Assistant with the quick button press or android assistant with the long button press. It doesn't work. The only way you can hang up is by pressing the button on the screen.
