Power steering locked while driving

Has any one had an issue with thier power steering Sunday while driving all of a sudden the steering locked would no let me steering the car was in Sport mode vehicle has 12000 trouble free miles then this had the car towed to dealer was told I have to wait I purchased 2 vehicles from zMahwah Ford and this service advisor belittled me I asked for a loaner and was told they had none this guy has the brains of a nat and a lousy bed side manor too. Still have no diagnosis. And am paying $95. A day for a rental any ideas? Any one have this issue?

Wow, I would be surprised that if happened to me! Sounded like ticking time bomb thing just to lock the steering wheel up if you’re going 65 or 70 mph! Please inform us all on what the finding culprit is after the inspection! Thanks!

Wow this got my attention, so when it "locked up" explain more, speeds, roads, were you straight, around a corner? Please post many more details.

How did you pull off the road if you couldn't steer?

Why does the dealership owe you a free loaner vehicle?

Right, i can kinda understand the system counter steering (trying to keep on road/in lane) and i can comprehend loss of power steering making it more difficult to steer at low speed but having it lock would be disastrous.
