You can also look at Long McArthur videos on YouTube. He gives weekly updates about ordering a Ford and if there are any part constraints. If you have an option that is constrained, it may be a wait. Great info on those videos. Look at Ford Scheduling. If you knew this already, apologies.

I've have seen his videos. Thats why I've come to the conclusion thos is gonna be a 6 month deal.. he said that scheduling for June is now in. So I thinking thos is gonna be a long wait.

Hey all,

I placed an order for a '26 GT Convertible back in Jan of '26.
Immediately after placing the order, I received an email from Ford with my order # & VIN
The initial email indicted the car was to be built the week of 4/27/26
Just yesterday, I checked the status of the order & it now indicates it will be built the week of 4/13/26

Is this normal for build dates to fluctuate?
Does it make a difference how the car is equipped? Mine is a GT, PP, 6spd

I have never ordered from Ford before, so I guess the changing dates is

I ordered base GT with Performance Package, Bronze Package in Adriatic Blue Metallic with a 10speed.

June build date sounds absurd..

I also had a priority 19.. I ordered from Granger.

Ask your dealer for a DORA (DEALER ORDER RECEIPT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT). This proves that the car was ordered. Make sure that it was a Retail order (Customer order.) Order Type 1. Priority should be 10, this is the highest priority.

This is what a 2020 DORA looked like, I doubt that the 2026 is any different.

Like the title says.. I placed an order on March 7th.. got my confirmation from Ford.. Dealer told me 6 months wait time? I figured mid run it would take MAX 3 months..

Has anyone else told the same thing? How long was your wait time?

I ordered 1-18, ford confirmed 1/23, I have a build date of 4/20. I do not understand why it takes 3 months to build the car, so I will be looking at 4-5 months from order till delivery

I ordered from Granger on 9/15/25. Exactly one month later, 10/15, I received the email from Ford that the car was scheduled for production. The car was built on 12/8 and arrived at the dealership on 12/19. So just a little over 3 months.
