Permanently disable Cross Traffic Alert?

Hello, is it possible to permanently disable Cross Traffic Alert? Or is there a way to turn the alert volume down? I know it can be temporarily disabled, but I don't want to have to navigate the menus every time I get in the car. Is there a separate speaker I could disconnect without causing problems? The beeping is extremely LOUD. Honestly all of the alerts are way too loud, but specifically, this one.

Not sure what you can disable permanently... the driver assistance items are under the "features" section in the main menu. I think there is a way to reduce the volume too, just not sure how. (may be under the features menu item).

If you turn the volume down while the alert is going off, it should reduce the volume of the alert itself. The only way to permanently disable it would be with FORScan.

I have not been able to find alert volume control through the menu, and turning the volume knob while beeping does not have any effect.

Did you try the volume (-) on the steering wheel?
