Mine shipped the same day I ordered it from Lethal in may of 2025.

Hopefully your quote of 8-12 weeks is absolute worst case scenario, and it ships sooner.

If he wants the "factory" warranty, or what little warranty there is, he is limited to the Ford Performance part, not the Whipple.

Ford might have exhausted their supply

Whipple stage 1 comes with the same warranty

who administers the warranty?
Sorry I misread your question…

The ASE certified technician that installs it will fill out the paperwork to register it through ford.. the ford performance version warranty differs from the warranty Whipple stage 1 version … somewhere on here there was a post noting the differences

I don't have the paperwork for the Ford Performance registration but i am guessing it's some Ford Performance/Whipple combination. Ford themselves doesn't do it. It was like this with Roush as well.

1. Installation invoice with SN of SC and vin
2. Purchase invoice of sc seller, mine was steeda

You’re not gonna even need to worry about the warranty, stage 1 is tame.

just enjoy and drive sensible, never do back to back WOT pulls.

Did you order a Ford Performance/Whipple Stage 1? If yes, the 8-12 week lead time doesn't add up unless the delay is due to the FP software issue. I say that because Ford Performance shows the FP/Whipple SC in stock (1 week or so to any Ford Dealer). LMR has them in stock as well. I have no idea what the Whipple Stage 1 stock status is.
I ordered the handling pack spoiler the 23rd. Ford site said dealer pick up the 26th and still waiting. I did notice theyre out of stock now so hope i still get mine soonish And ordered while they did in fact have stock on them.
for the whipple i ordered from a vendor so im guessing 8-12 weeks since it hasn't shipped and i also ordered that the 23rd

Cats tend to become an issue, I would get headers on there, but if stage 1 and trying to play warranty game I get why people aren’t up to it.

I think the engine is safer with no warranty, stage 2 kit and off-road headers.

than less power stage 1 kit, stock headers

I ordered mine (Stage 1 with warranty) on 12/19 from Lethal. Called them on 12/29 because I got an email about " Material backorders, supply chain issues". They told me then 12-14 weeks. I have seriously considered cancelling the order, since they've already took my money and I have to wait 3 months or more just to take delivery. That's kinda screwed up if you ask me. They should have at least had a notification on the website, so you'd know before you ordered. The 15% savings is worth some wait, I get that, but 3 months seems excessive.
