To a certain extent, it’s a matter of perspective: you’re right in that most companies would be very happy to sell that many sports/performance cars per month, but the Mustang had its worst sales year ever last year—after a redesign that should’ve bumped sales—and is unfortunately following that up with a repeat performance. It’s not a good look for the Mustang, even if Ford is somehow satisfied with the sales.I think most brands would kill to have a sports car that can sell 4K-5K units per month- for a sports car, that is actually phenomenal. Not to mention has been in production for 60 years!
