Just got these babies in the post. Auto Tech dry washable air filters (pretty sure there is a thread on the main page). More a quality of life upgrade. I'll let you know how it goes installing and after installation.

Note: Shipping from America sucks. Had US customs stickers all over the box, and tracking showed it sat in Customs for 2 weeks before it even left.

Probably should have put some back story in first. I got a service done and asked to have the air filters replaced as they were filthy. Yep sure thing they said. Picked up the car, sorry sir we dont have any air filters in stock, with no idea when they will become available. Thats when I decided to get better, reusable ones.

Anyway, took less than 10 mins to install. A little tighter than the shitty paper filters when getting them attached to the intake pipework but nothing dramatic.

Took for a little spin, I must say throttle response has vastly improved. That is most likely due to the filthy old filters, and now can breath alot better, though I dont remember the trottle response being this good when I got the car. Could be my imagination, but I'll take it. Attached photo's of before and after. The old filters are just on 20k km's. If you are around those km's I would highly advise checking them yourself.
