Another not so minor upgrade

I call this a not so minor upgrade as I think protecting against stone chips is a biggie. Got these Rokblokz in the mail today (I wont mention the extortion of getting stuff from the US) but I must say, extremely high quality. The splash guards were vacuum sealed but I had already pulled them apart in my excitement to see how they looked. Came with all necessary hardware in its own bag split between Front and Rear, and a sheet with both a PDF download and a video tutorial QR codes.
I was going to do it this arvo but I'll wait until the weekend. The front can be done without taking the wheels off, but the rear looks a heap easier with the wheel removed.
Ill post again once they are on and get some photo's up.

I didn't bother taking the rears off.

The extra few minutes to fit the rear guards because of the 'fiddly factor' would have been spent in taken the rear wheels off anyway.
It would have been a net-zero gain, or so close to it, it didn't matter.
Of course, different if you have the use of a lift and rattle gun.

Sweet, ill give it a go without taking the rear's off.
ALM you have a heap more tread left on your rear than I do. I swear its not because of my right foot

The rokblokz are nice but as I have said before, the fronts can have a tendency to collect pebbles where they sit against the arch. I lived with it for a number of years until I took them off and put some double sided 3m tape the full contact length. No more gaps, no more pebbles.

Decided to fit them this arvo. Fronts were really easy. Noted from the post from PK about pebbles getting caught between the mudflap and arch. They seem pretty snug with no gaps I can see. But I will keep an eye on them and if it becomes a problem I will do as you suggest and add some 3M tape to close up any potential gaps. As for the rear, they are a dick around with the wheel in place without some getto screwdriver like action similar to what 5.0 ALM needed to do. Still quicker than jacking each side up and removing the wheel. And I made sure the writing was all the right way. It would have been tweaking me otherwise. Ignore how dirty the car is, its been raining on and off and my Stang is my daily. She gets a bath every weekend trust me. I think they look a treat tbh.
