Looking for the most power and performance-oriented intake kit for your S650 Mustang? Look no further than Whipple’s all new Crusher Intake System for the 2024-2026 Mustang GT.

This is the must-have intake for those who want the most out of their naturally-aspirated Mustang, with dyno-proven 15 RWHP / 12 ft-lbs torque gain from the intake alone and over 25RWHP gain with their tuning through HP Tuners’ RTD and Whipple’s Calibration.

Plus, with Whipple’s Calibration, you’ll see better transmission shift points and a higher rev. limit for a more useful powerband.

If you just want to race the dyno pulling the carbon traps, adding a high flow air filter, and pulling the lids will give you 15 rwhp too.

Pulling the lids will just hurt performance if doing multiple runs. However, you’re absolutely right, you get the same gains for $120-$150 vs paying the 500-700 these companies want for their intake kits.

does this keep the warranty- similar to how the whipple supercharger keeps a warranty?

Nice kit; seems like a LOT of money though for the gain. $1500 for a 27 HP gain is over $55.00 per HP.

Are these gains the same if the hood is closed ?
I was asking myself the same question. I doubt we'll know.
The other question is what's the benefit of a dyno-tune vs an off-the shelf 93 tune if the rest of the engine is stock and no headers? plly negligeable.

i don’t get the need to reinvent the cold air intake from the factory. simply removing carbon traps and adding a high flow filter will get you to your desired gains. Also, those open lid systems are definitely going to trap heat

You should dyno with hood closed so that the air has to be drawn in through the factory restricted regular GT grill.
