Please let us know about this if you can. Because now that you said that, my car did that but only once. Scared me a little but I got it handled. Hasn't done that since, but will be checking in future.
Mine has done this a few times as well, it isn’t a nice feeling when you lift off the gas but the car continues to put the throttle in. Usually happens after a hard but short burst of acceleration and could easily see you bashing the car in front not quick to find the brake.

Combined with the car not accelerating when you transition from brake to gas, this car is unpredictable and a hazard.

I mentioned it here (https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...py-when-making-fast-turns.174506/post-3480748) before but didn’t really get a response from anyone suffering the same, so kind of moved on and forgot about it assuming that I was just new to driving such such a powerful car.

But having done a bit of research now I’m worried it’s a potentially very serious issue. There’s a post on a bummer forum about the S55 doing this and some there point to throttle body malfunction as a possible cause but in this e 8 years that thread has been there not of the users reported a dealer actually being able to replicate the issue.

Wow i had no idea that others were noticing this. That is very disconcerting to say the least. Mine happened kinda bad only once if memory serves. I was already moving a bit maybe around 10 15 MPH from a stop and pressed the gas quite liberally and after I let off the car was acting like I still had around half to quater throttle pressed. It was like the butterflies were retracting very slowly back to idle. Thats what it felt like to me. Like a delay? I haven't tried to duplicate it again but im pretty sure it's working normally. And yes this could definitely be very serious, maybe it's not widespread though?

Do you want to make a separate thread on it and we’ll try to collect a group of us there that have noticed it?
