MY24 Service Plan - Fixed Price @ $379 for the four 4 Services (ie max 4 Years),

I noticed there has been no mention of a continuation of the previous $300 Service plan on the Brochure or anywhere else, however I just found this:

I just hope the NRMA Membership & Roadside Assist is included as has been the case.

Yes we still get Roadside Assist & Auto Club Membership (NRMA etc) included with each annual Service:

Looks like this is a YES, for 12 months at a time, providing you get your vehicle serviced at a participating Ford dealer.

When you consider it takes 10L of pricy 5w-30 Synthetic engine oil, and in the case of NSW, the NRMA is $15 pm ($180 pa) for 50/100 K Towing or $18 p/m ($216 pa) for 100/100 K Towing, it is not bad value.

I just checked my RACQ renewal (RACQ Everyday Plus, paid 6 weeks ago) and that was $172 for 100km attendance and 50km towing.

Caveat:
12 months on, and I still have an aversion to dealer servicing, beyond the essential.

Because I was too lazy at the time to take it to the dealer I purchased my RAV4 from (an hour drive away in a rural location, where integrity and honesty can still be found), I took it to the closest dealer.
Monthly income must have been low because Llewellyn Toyota wanted $1,729 to replace both front CV half shafts.

My local mechanic charged $364 to replace the split CV boots (the real problem), grease, and re-balance the wheels. Only what needed to be done, rather than inflate the invoice.

The difference is the Service is really only an Oil and Filter Change, Software and Map Update, and Recall and other mechanical & Electrical Checks. If an issue is found, it should be covered under warranty.

Forgot to mention 10L of oil is circa $174 + $25 Filter = $199
(eg Castrol EDGE Synthetic 5W-30 Engine Oil 5L = $87 @ Repco)

Larger MY24 GT Engine Oil Cooler - Much Larger (x4?) and transversely mounted behind new metal Sump and before the Gearbox. It is also near the hot Cats, although it is now placed to catch cold air flow under the car.

This should be a big improvement over the set-up on all previous models (FM/FN).

OIL CHANGE PROCESS - 2024 Mustang GT Gen 4 5.0L Coyote: Oil Change & Oil Life Reset - Full Process

This is really interesting, very labour intensive just to get at the Oil Filter !!

Also shows the new Steel Sump and Larger and sensibly transversely re-positioned Oil Cooler to now catch cold air under the car.
