Well, next road trip on Friday, 3hr drive to get first service done, and got a small list to look at

1. Under body aero strakes to fit

2. Bonnet adjustment, pretty sure it's passenger side lifting after drive this morning
3. Rotate clamps on exhaust, scraping on driveway, bolt is sitting pretty much vertical

Has anyone else noted anything on theirs yet? If so drop a line so we can all check.

PS
I fixed the drivers side intake connection to airbox this morning, pretty easy, removed filter (1076km) which was surprisingly filthy, and bracket screw, and pushed into place

All fixed, left hand side looking at photo pushed back in place, was pretty much all that side not engaged and choking off intake

I do not see the OE filters lasting 10k miles. Mine looked about the same. I think you would be lucky to get 5k out of them before needing to buy new. I also had to realign one of my intake pipes into the filter housing.

My exhaust does not scrap but my front lips and Sto N Sho setup does if I do not leave at a steep angle. My exhaust flange bolts are pointed straight down as well. I will add that to the list.

@Mastermind46 I only noticed the exhaust scrapes when someone is in the passenger seat, but the gutter is a sloped 60 degree by 200mm high, so I got to take a fair angle.

I am sure someone in Australia will stock the Steeda filters.

Thanks for replying👍

Road trip
Sport mode on for a lovely 3hr drive down some of the most well maintained roads in all of Queensland (sarcasm plus plus).......there are some sections that when towing the van, I sit on 80 so you don't bounce off the road.....but the DH did not care, and my passenger queen did not complain once about her bad back....so more browny points for the car from the GM fan.

But one thing I did note, as the car passed 1300-1400km the active cruise control was not as smooth reacting to hills as previous (man in 6th), at lower speeds and revs the throttle response is way more sensitive, then after a day running round town doing appointments and what not, it was my wife questioning if I changed modes, as she said it was louder and more of a burble...sitting at the next lights idle was definitely more V8 sounds than previous.....is it possible that the car changed tunes? It is most definitely for the better🤩.

Service Time

Only real thing bothering me with the car is the bonnet, when I talked to Mackay Ford, I did want the car booked in on the Friday to get sorted, but they said Saturday would work for them as workshop foreman would sort......list of other things sorted...exhaust clamps spun round, aero strakes fitted but a miriad of excuses for bonnet not done, followed by an option for next available time for me to drop in and get sorted....pretty annoyed and it's a 500+km round trip, as you can now see wear marks on the ppf (kind of glad it's installed TBO) where it rubs when it opens, or in particular where the drivers windscreen wiper is lifted to clean windscreen.....pretty sure dropping front latch 2mm and sliding DS rear forward 1mm would sort all the issues.....will put on beers if anyone wants to help.

But failing that, it is one beautiful car to drive long distance.
