You are the first one I hear that says that all other s650 GT's sound like a V6.
It's definitley your hearing.
I got tinnitus when I was in 10th grade from headphones and skateboarding. I still have it, constant “sssssssss” noise in my both ears.

Hard to tell in a video (sound quality of speakers can change a lot) but I think yours sounds very similar to mine. I've noticed that it will initially idle at a higher rpm than I'm used to with previous vehicles on a cold start, but after a minute or two the rpms drop and it sounds more like a deep rumble. Long story short, I don't think there is anything off with your car.

My rpm drop and it became more deeper rumble too. It’s just weird that a V8 sound like that on cold start.

I don't think see anything strange here? Apart the recorded sounds that isn't exactly like what you hear. Mine sounds even more "racing" than that (because of H-pipe), it's not only because of higher rpm, but also because during the first phase of a cold start the advance timing is tuned differently (only now I'm realizing how much it increased in volume without the resonator, to the point that some time I have to shut the exhaust valves to not annoy my neighbors), after a minute or such (depending of the temperature) it calms down, diving back the classing "quiet" rumble (until I drive, coz flooring it makes a roar).

Ok that made sense. I have X pipe so that contribute to the raspy higher pitch startup

That’s nothing, my 370z wouldn’t start cuz of dead battery. Sitting in garage for 2 years.
