I've been looking at swapping the rear diffuser for something that resembles the DH diffuser in looks and function. Out of the ones that fit a GT, only the MP Concepts diffuser has a similar look, but I HATE how the reverse light looks with the additional brake light integrated. I also don't care for the change to LED lights. They can call it an improvement and upgrade all they want, but it's just plain ugly. If I wouldn't have to swap the light, I would be fine with it. However, the housing for the light looks shorter and wider than the stock light. Has anyone installed one that can give feedback on fitment? I'm also concerned about compatibility with the DH bellypan, so any words of wisdom are much appreciated. There aren't any videos or reviews regarding this diffuser, so I'm just hoping someone has experience with it.

P.S. If there's a company willing to make a DH style diffuser that looks and functions just like the OEM that fits a GT, and is not carbon fiber, it would be an instant buy.

The W2 body kits photo doesn’t even make sense. The installed picture and the stock photo don’t even match. It’s missing the inside strake

Edit: I see how it’s supposed to work now, it’s not the entire black portion it’s just the lower portion. Still super odd with the giant hole in the back

Edit 2: nahhhh no way. That’s just not the same piece as shown

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I just ignored the picture of the DH.

I saw someone on here that added that to their car. They posted a video and It just sticks to the OEM diffuser panel. Adding to it. It is not a single replacement piece. Not my cup of tea, but was pretty slick in design.

@Interstellar Took a bit. All I could remember is how it went on and the color of the car. Probably saw this 2 months ago. Turned out to be a Nytop diffuser. Should be a similar install process. It is around the middle of the video.

I have the mp concepts rear diffuser its the entire rear plastic valence as in you need to take the bumper off to replace it and the factory reverse light should work i will measure the mp opening for the reverse light vs the factory one and see how they measure out. I unfortunately haven't had the time to put it on due to new job and weather. It is a well made piece and has a bracket that will take the stock gt underbelly pan and connect it to the mp valence. Not sure if a dh one would bolt right up i would have to compare the mp bracket against the dh belly pan. I'm not a fan of nytop they are pricey for non functional diffuser.

some other options to consider. One thing i have found is both cj pony parts and american muscle seem to be way behind or way over priced for this gen and mostly just way off the mark for whats available.

While browsing a post on exhausts, I noticed that many of these kits come with a DH valance/diffuser.

See here

They say it fits the 24-25 GT coupe/ convertible. Kind of makes me wonder if the DH valance really does fit a GT. I'm half tempted to just order one and find out the hard way...

The Dark Horse valence bolts right up to the GT. Seen it in person on @86pagt's beautiful Vapor Blue GT with a chrome black tipped version of that exhaust.
