I did the same and after posting a picture, members thought it was sort of tacky. After I installed the emblem, it was hard to center because of the different angles on the grille. IMHO, it appeared to be too large. Sadly, after a few days in 90-degree weather, the emblem separated from the base and fell on the garage floor. I removed the rest of the base. I wrote the company, but they indicated that there was no guarantee. So, at this point, it makes a nice hanger on the refrigerator and I'm out $20!!

Everyone has a different opinion on aesthetics. I dont think I've ever seen two mustangs that look alike! So I wouldn't take anyone's negative feedback too seriously. Mustangs are made to be personalized.

The badge isn't much different in size or placement than the older GT350's so it's not that far-fetched of an idea, in my opinion. Especially when there are people out there buying Shelbys with the snake badge and Shelby lettering on a thousand different places on the outside.

If my badge falls off too, it wouldn't be the end of the world, but the company ought to at least make it right and send a replacement and/or do some QC to fix the original issue with it.

I'm actually hoping Shelby comes out with a front grille for sale for the S650's like they eventually did and currently still have available for the S550's. It would be the same one from the new GT350's and Super Snakes which in my opinion looks great. Isn't as plain as the MP Concepts one, and doesn't have the huge LED lights like the RTR one.

I actually just put one on mine. From Coyote Badge Shop. They're more expensive, but its made of very high quality materials, even comes with a bracket to be able to put on the grille and not just glued on.

I am still not 100% how I feel about it. But I've received compliments so it might stay.

Based on the positioning of you guys. Seems like I might need to place mine further left.

Blue on blue hooked me. Just ordered Coyote Badge Shop item through Amazon & saved $5.00 with Amazon coupon plus free shipping. I’m living large!
Also, Amazon had some from Coyote Badge Shop that are just the coyote head. No surrounding plaque. Only limited quantities left. Not on CBS website & they talk about having gone to a single design for grill & rear deck. Must be a discontinued design.

Looks like I added my reply to the body of your post. I’m an idiot. Sorry.

Well, that same thing just happened to me. Went out to the car as it was parked and the emblem separated from the base. Car is kept in a garage and covered, and it happened to me in less than a month without it even being 90 degrees outside. The annoying part, other than the part obviously being defective, is that when uninstalling it the back 2 metal parts of the bracket fell down into the abyss and are basically irretrievable for me since I don't have a lift, so suppose if I'm driving along and hear a couple "cling clang" noises that'll be them falling out and on to the road.
