When I'm carrying my key fob ('24 GT) sometimes the marker and parking lights will illuminate and sometimes, they don't. Anyone know anything about this? Thank You.

You have your approach lighting enabled. That was one of the first things I disabled on my car. I found it annoying.

If the car sits for a while the battery saver program will disable the approach lightning feature until the car is driven again.

I've noticed this too. I think it has to do with how awake the car is. For example, when going in and out of the garage but not actually opening the car. After several times of being activated, it sleeps to the point, you have to touch the door handle before it wakes up. At that point, the headlights don't light up. Weird in any case.

Where do you enable/disable it, Please? Thank You.
Going from memory here: Vehicle settings > lighting > "approach lighting" or "welcome lighting". Don't remember what it is specifically called. Car is currently in the garage due to the wonderful snow and ice that we currently have here in Maryland.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Appreciate it.

And boy does that happen a lot more often when the temp is sub zero. I’ve had mine on a battery tender to keep the voltage from dropping below 12. Every time it goes into saver mode I get that terrible chime ford uses on all its other cars. It’s just awful.

Once that happens though, I can hook the car up to the battery tender then turn on the auxiliary power without starting the engine, let the infotainment boot then shut it all down. That brings back the proper chime and normal system behavior.
