Greetings ,
52 to 55 is about right. How long have they had the car on their lot? Look at the tires. What condition are they in? If they look like they will need to be replaced soon, knock another grand off. Are the wheels in good shape or are they rashed? What's the windshield look like. What's the condition of the paint. See if they'll put it up on a rack for you so you can look underneath the car. Look at all of her cracks and crevices 😂. What's the interior look like? Are the seats in good condition? Are service records available? Was the car maintained. Is the Carfax clean? Look closely and inspect the engine. Drive the car. Any money that you have to spend to recondition the car is money you can take off their asking price. Offer $49-$50. Use my points above and the car's condition as bargaining chips. They took that car on trade and the seller got much less. Having this kind of conversation may get them to say what their lowest price is. Remember, you can always walk away If the deal doesn't feel right.

It's missing a pedal, I suspect that hurts the value.
