Then I don't feel so bad about mine at 12/6. Still, I have seen at least 10 "similar build" GTs built within the 60 - 90 day timeframe.

All seems kind of random. My order was pretty basic too and here we are at over 4 months. GT Premium convertible, 401A, Brembos, AEV.

We ordered 12/23, but dealership didn’t enter the order with Ford officially until 12/26 (holidays, no big deal). Blend date for us was 3/19. Checked last night (3/20) around 9PM PST and tracker says “Built”. Had some additional verbiage about shipping being next. Guessing it will arrive 2nd or 3rd week of April .

Thanks. It is beginning to become a bit clearer now. My Blend Date is tomorrow, 3/22. We'll see what happens.

Mine has arrived and I will be picking it up Saturday! I know it’s tough, but it’ll arrive soon. I was patient until I saw mine being built and the anticipation was getting to me. I was constantly checking the tracker. After I got my built update, my tracker went back to saying order confirmed. I didn’t receive an update that my mustang had shipped, the shipped and final preparation populated at the same time when it was delivered to the dealer.

I now have a date under the “In Production” tab (3/21/24). This fits with the Blend Date of 3/22/24.

Blend date is not your BUILT date. It's (close to) the day it STARTS being built, not the day it's COMPLETED. Cycle time for vehicle builds at most assembly plants is longer than a single day.

I understand that. @samson had a Blend Date of 3/20/24, so he was expecting a "Built Date" yesterday or today. Again, just trying to understand the system.

seriously, give it up. There is no rhyme or reason. There is no "should X" in any Ford IT system. You'd have better luck predicting the next earthquake on Jupiter.

My blend date was 03/04/24
My built date was three days later on 03/07/24
I would expect it to end up being today (but not yet posted) or, most likely, Monday.

This isn't UPS, FedEx, or Amazon Prime delivery. Nothing can be predicted, and anything can change at any time.
