Hey all, coming from tuned S550’s for the last 10 years I’m really struggling with the stock tune on my Dark Horse manual.
Pedal response feels soft and I use Sport mode w/TC turned off 100% of the time.
Has anyone tried this Soler Performance Throttle controller recently?
Does it make it harder to shift smooth on a manual?
Please share your experience.
Yes I did see the Zander YouTube video

Not the Soler, but I have the Pedal Commander. It definitely wakes It up on Sport +. It takes a little to get used to it, once you do, it's a lot of fun 😁

Cool, Seems like a cheap fix as long as it’s not problematic.

I have Soler 90MM TB and it cured the "Vague Throttle" feeling especially in the 1-2 shift!!

I have a Pedal Commander for sale that accomplishes the same thing but has dozens of settings to try and I just never left it alone so when I got the Soler TB it nailed it and removed the selection process altogether........THANKS SOLER!!

Email me if you wish to try the Pedal Commander??

Thanks for this, still deciding which direction to go.
I watched a video Steeda did on the 90mm TB’s. I would do this but that’s $1000 to get about the same results as the Throttle controller for $200 no?

I appreciate the offer, let me do a little research on the differences between pedal commander and Soler Performance versions

Another question, when you disconnect battery to install this controller, do I lose all my settings ?
And
Is auto rev matching affected

I have the Soler Performance Throttle controller on my 24 PP A10, so can't provide feedback on the manual.

After installing, I notice the driving experience is noticeably improved. Throttle tip in and response is better in ALL modes. Really took away that lagging dead spot and heavy throttle to get it moving in stock form - Especially in Normal Mode.

I did not disconnect the battery. However, I did open up the doors/trunk as instructed with the FOB away from the car for 15 minutes before installing.

I installed the module without the display and use my phone via Bluetooth to change settings as needed. I ended up liking "Comfort 9" as my daily setting where the throttle response is fast without it being to twitchy and downshifting to quickly.

Is the car faster? No, but it gets you into the power quicker and more seamlessly when you press the pedal. Until tuning is available, I really like it so far.

Great feedback, thank you!
I talked to Soler Performance today and they mentioned the 15 min door trick.
Also , they told me when the clutch is pressed in the car returns to stock.
auto rev match is controlled by cpu so no affect. No lift shift was questionable but I don’t use this.

What does the 15 min door trick help with? Pedal Commander was plug and play, nothing special had to be done to be installed.

It’s a de- energizer of the cpu instead of disconnecting the battery which is what they instruct to do when installing.
