Knock noise at startup

I am also dealing with this same issue, as seen in this video that I recorded:

yea this is it most of the times it will happen if the car is warm and you turn off the car and after few minutes you turn it back on

Yes I do have the same knock on startup, even though I replaced the flange due to another issue. the knock happens not every time, only occasionally. Sometimes it sounds really loud but at other times it sounds not as loud. it's not getting any worse, and I haven't talked to the dealer about it yet.

Somehow we have to get use to it and follow normal D to P steps to avoid it.

What i do is i got from D To N wait for 1 sec
then N to R hold it for 3 secs and put handbrake and then to P
I dont get this jolt at all on startup!
If i dont follow it i do get a little jolt.
