You should get pinch-weld pucks. They sit on a floor jack or attach to the pinch-weld and allow you to properly lift the Mustang.

I will look into those. Used all 4 points tonight and everything went well but I’d rather have those pucks as added insurance.

If you are going to put a piece of wood on head of jack make sure it is soft wood. I have jacked up hundreds of railroad cars using hydraulic jacks on each side of the car to change wheels or problems underneath car.

I have seen that done quite a few times as I have worked on a railroad for a few years. I’ve also used the wood trick a few times too on vehicles.

I’m going to have to measure the opening for these adapters. It’s hard to tell from the pics but some of these that are out there look bigger than the opening we have for the adapter to fit.

I’ve also noticed blocks don’t rattle as freely as pucks, are multi purpose, almost free (but lack curb appeal), eventually need to be replaced and may press against overlapping trim if not careful.
