Go early in the morning or late in the evening. Mine was open 24 hrs with a lot of lighting. I used to take my own supplies with me and as long as it wasn’t busy I would use the bay for half hour or so.
Some cars may get dirtier a little quicker than others but all vehicles create a negative air pressure area in the rear when moving forward. The ride height, conditions of the road, etc… all factor in. I’d go out on a limb and even say the type of protection you have on the car will affect it...
The shine was impressive as I forgot to mention. I’m not concerned with longevity because the car is washed weekly as you were implying.
I’ve never tried any OG products so I may give it a shot. I do like the quick beads I’m currently using but it doesn’t give as much shine as bead maker...
Question for you on the bead maker. I used a bottle about 2-3 years ago and really liked the slickness it gave the paint but it attracted dust like crazy. Does it still have this issue? I found out that this was a common complaint after I bought it.
Dang, I’m not “that” car guy but it’s a good idea. I have many dewalt battery tools but I do t have the blower. Maybe I will do this for the weekend getaways.
ONR is a very good product. Always is ranked in the top by everyone who tests these products.
As for a drying aid I’ve been using DIYDetail quick beads. I’m just about out and will stick with it for a while. I really like it and it’s easy to use and helps with my ceramic coating. There are a...
I’ve used a leaf blower for the better part of 15 years. It definitely helps remove water from the crevices and whatnot. I was that neighbor and you should have seen the looks I got when I used it to blow snow off the cars and driveway 🤣🤣.
I’d also recommend a drying aid. It helps reduce...
I’m glad to hear you were refunded your money. We had a few small bubbles in a couple of spots but not noticeable to most people. I took 20 minutes to inspect the car before I left. The sun and curing took care of all them. We only had one issue but it was something in the ppf itself and...
For the best protection you should use an oil based spray like NHO or the like. If it’s maintained yearly the car will never rust.
Tar based sprays will eventually crack and allow moisture behind and cause rusting. You don’t want something that hardens and definitely stay away from bed...
Don’t forget the do-it-yourself version. Old farmers trick. Spray used oil under your vehicle and go for a drive down a dirt road. Not the most eco friendly version but it works.
It’s California. They usually don’t make much sense on most things. I mean they want to ban the sales of ICE the in the state by 2035
The reason the cats get hot is because excess oil or gas getting to the cat
If that theory worked then no cat would plug up. There’s a difference between hitting a hot object and being exposed to a combustion. Also could possibly affect the O2 sensor readings.
Although with as little residue that is actually captured on most NA motors it probably wouldn’t make a...
The AC thing bothered me at first as I’m use to buttons and knobs and I’ll admit are easier to use than the mustangs. I’m use to it now but I’d prefer the knobs and buttons as I can use them while looking at the road. You can’t adjust the controls without looking at the screen in the mustang...
Much appreciate the response. That’s some of the weirdest casting lines I’ve ever seen. Good idea on the lube. I’ll do that here soon. Thank you.
Can someone post a pick of their tank please so I can compare to mine. I have what looks like cracks by the cap and both hoses. I can’t push the plastic in at all but they don’t look like they came from the molding process. I don’t have any leaking that I can tell either but this doesn’t look...
