The spacers were added to help with reducing some of the trimming - making the install a little more simplistic.
A video would be nice to know what this actually is.

Also adding a little more feedback:

The Steeda Mustang Jacking Rail Spacer is a new part to help address the change in frame angle on the S650.

Without the spacer, the Front side of the Jacking Rail will extend 1/8" past the pinch weld, the rear will be below the pinch weld by ~1/8". This is due to a change in the body.

The Spacer is recommended for S650's, but you can install the Jacking Rails without it.

Are the spacers holding up shipping? I orderd a set of full length rails last week and they still haven't shipped.

Thanks for the info. I can't find the spacer kit listed separately on your website. I would like to get it for the full length rails I bought last year.

Three questions.

1. For those who installed without spacers in a GT non vert, non powerpack, any issues?

2. Anyone who has the spacers, can you measure them and report back? My junk box is full of spacers like those pictured in the updated instructions.

3. Steeda, since some of us who purchased the rails prior to spacers, it would be nice if we could have them sent free of charge.

I would like to know about the spacers as well. I bought two full rails for new mustangs coming in a couple of weeks for me and a buddy. Could you take a picture of the spacer being used now - so we can maybe come up with DIY if not available from Steeda. Thx.

It's an extra $25 when you add them to the rails on Steeda's website

That's crazy.
1. Why didn't Steeda figure this out from day one so people purchasing their rails would get a proper fit?

2. Even if you look on Amazon, spacers are like $3.00. I have tons in my junk box. Stainless, aluminum and so forth. Just need to have the dimensions.

Come on Steeda, "pony up" for the loyal users.

Just my 2 cents.

I emailed [email protected] he gave me another guy to get ahold of [email protected]. I'll let you know what they end up doing.

You destroyed what we wanted.

You literellay asked a company if they can show you what they sell so you can make your own.

I’m not selling anything. I would just like a proper fit for when I install on my car. I don’t want to be looking for parts when I install, I would like to be prepared and have everything ready to go. If they sell the pieces to order and have right away - I would do that as well.

You totally missed the point. Nobody said you are selling anything.

You are asking a company who makes a living out of their research and development, to show you their product so you can make it yourself.
