Talk to Austin at Full Torque. He made me a 1 piece aluminum shaft for my car, DH with Tremec. Smooth and no increase in NVH. It weighs 18lbs compared to the stock 30lb two piece shaft. I tried a DSS carbon shaft and it was very poorly made and had massive vibration beginning at 40mph.
Off topic of a CAI, I had QA1 carbon driveshafts on my previouse 2016 GT and 2018 GT350R. They were smooth as stock and half the weight. Stock 2 piece shaft weighs 30lbs. QA1 no longer makes driveshafts so I ordered a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft. Complete vibrating garbage. Just installed...
I recently cancelled my 2025 Darkhorse with HP and bought a "like new" 2024 with the same specs I had ordered. By the time the 2025s are built and in owner's hands, the season to use them in northern states will be almost over. I live in north Idaho and our driving season is not much longer...
Got the allocation for a Dark Horse Premium, HP with 6spd last fall. Still waiting for the VIN, so hopefully in the June build schedule. When I was told the late build for the DH was because of summer tires, I thought that was absolutely ridiculous.
