Is this from the factory or did the dealer do this?

@nospleen , if i can make you feel a little better, i took mine for a blast yesterday and noticed two dimples in my right thumb rest on my wheel as well. not as pronounced as your replacement wheel, but they are there. like the soft touch cover kind of buckles right there. left is smooth. i'm gonna live with mine. meant to grab a flashlight and take a picture for you but it was about to rain when i parked it.
Interesting. Do you think yours developed over time or possibly has been there all along?

i feel like its been there. i'll snap a pic for you next time. not as pronounced but definitely two dimples. like they went light on the spray adhesive there when they wrapped the wheel. its pretty soft behind those indents both sides. i tried a picture but it'll take shining a light across it to show up good

Ok, so stupid question here, if someone wants to have mercy on me. If I'm jump starting this thing, the Positive terminal is right there under the red cover. Do I have to take the whole battery cover off to get to the Negative? Be gentle...I know I'm an idiot about these cars...never had one before. ;)
Under the red cover is a nice flat blade to attach the positive cable, just up and to the left a little is a negative ground post sticking up. Makes it really easy to safely attach the Battery Tender alligator clips to.

Ah, ok, I'll look for that...up and to the left. Thanks!
