Good looking DH. Drag racing huh? Look into beefing up the half-shafts, they'll probably be the first thing to fail drag racing.Hi all,
New 2024 Dark Horse owner in Race Red, picked up at the end of January at Polito Ford in Lindsay.
Looking forward to seeing what you all got and getting advice on performance parts for this baby to go drag racing.
I second that. Then a good clutch. A Mc Something or Other clutch. If automatic disregard. Then an SC.Good looking DH. Drag racing huh? Look into beefing up the half-shafts, they'll probably be the first thing to fail drag racing.

Well great because I've already invested in a bunch of Steeda stuff from CJ Pony Parts.New to the forum! If you have questions or need tech support message me or email me directly at [email protected]! I have been with Steeda for almost 6 years. More than happy to help!
Awesome! Thanks!I polled our two resident racers here, 1 drag racer, the other road course. The first thing to do is to talk to the tech staff of the sanctioning body you are racing in. They will be able to provide you with the exact safety equipment you need for your class. Our 2015 # 20 Mustang GT runs a MT-82. We had a clutch failure on that car, the bellhousing cracked and retained its structural integrity. Technology has come a long way. We replaced it with a Calimer Transmissions built MT-82. That leads me to the second part of this message. Reach out to Calimer Transmissions directly. They are the MT-82 gurus and will be able to provide you detailed information on what to do for safety when racing an MT-82. Thier number is (717) 331-2974. Here is the link to their website: Calimer Transmissions
Hope this helps!
