I know there's been some talk about Approach Lighting in the main spreadsheet thread, but didn't see where anyone had actually gotten it to work.

If you're unfamiliar with Approach Lighting, it is simply the vehicle turning on the Welcome Lighting when the key fob has been away from the vehicle and then comes near it again. There will no longer be a need to unlock the doors with either the key fob or via the door handle to get the welcome lighting to display.

Disclaimer:
As with anything Forscan related and the multitude of different trim levels and options available on these cars, YMMV.
This is what worked for me on my 2024 Dark Horse 600A with handling package after I had previously enabled welcome lighting by following the instructions in a popular YouTube video.
My car had neither welcome lighting, nor approach lighting, enabled when I picked it up at the dealer.

APIM 7DO-09-01 xxx* xxxx xx--
IPC 720-01-01 xxxx xxxx *x--
For both of these addresses, you'll want to compare your current value with the spreadsheet and select the new value accordingly.
You want to keep all of the functions the same (enabled or disabled), except that ADCF needs to be enabled.

BCM 726-18-01 x*x* x*x* x*--
BCM 726-27-01 x*xx xxxx xx--
BCM 726-45-01 xxxx xxxx x*--
Change all the *'s to 1

Follow forscan's instructions and cycle the key after each module is written.
Once complete, you should be able to exit the vehicle, lock the doors, and walk 15 to 20ft away from it.
When you walk back towards the vehicle, the welcome lighting should come on once the key fob is detected.

Hope this works for others here on the forum!!

Approach lighting was not something my 600A trim Dark Horse was equipped with, so no option to enable or disable through the screen. It does come on the 700A variant though.

So it might be a Premium option. Got it.

You’re awesome! Thank you! Gonna try it later on my 301A base w/ dark horse style welcome lights enabled. Would be cool to have the approach feature.

Same on my GT Ptemium. Easy on or off.
I don't know about other trims, but approach lighting is a feature that I can enable or disable on the screen, no need for forscan.

It has to be a premium thing. Dark Horse Premium (700A) comes with it as std equipment, but my non-premium Dark Horse (600A) did not.

Even with these changes, I still don't have the option to enable/disable the approach lighting though the dash, so there might be something I missed and still need to work on. Unless it's part of the Welcome Lighting option, then I can.

Yeah there’s definitely gonna be an option to turn it off and on. @GrabThatBlue idk if you can help with that or not. But I assume it’s just a hidden option similar to how ACC toggles showed up. It’s definitely gotta be hidden. But the question is will it work to enable and disable

I figured it would have been the APIM change that added the toggle to the screen, and was surprised when I didn't see anything related to approach lighting.
I just went out and looked again to confirm.
I can turn welcome lighting on/off through the screen, but there is nothing for approach lighting.

I think that’s the way it shows up for my 2025 GT Premium also. I don't remember any option for approach lighting. Just for welcome lighting, which also turns on/off approach lighting. But even if I turn off welcome lighting, it does turn on when I use the fob to unlock the car.

Approach lighting is integrated in the welcome lighting.

When you turn welcome lighting off, the approach lighting is turned off and the welcome lighting only works when using your keyfob.

When you turn welcome lighting on, the approach lighting is turned on without using your keyfob.
